Loop Animation with Cinema 4D

Begin the course by getting to know your teacher, Fabrício Lima, who tells you about his professional background and self-taught journey into animation. He also shares his main sources of inspiration before walking you through the course content.

Get familiar with Cinema 4D by exploring the program's interface and discover primitive objects. Learn how to use some of the loop features and MoGraph tools to make your work more dynamic and versatile. Then, compile and organize reference materials to develop a concept.

Now it's time to put things in motion. Fabrício teaches you a variety of techniques to make animated loops using different primitive objects and shows you how to create other elements to take your project to the next level.

Once you've animated your pieces, add the finishing touches by focusing on key aspects of art direction such as positioning lights and cameras and applying colors and textures. Then, work on your file and adjust the settings for the selected renderer, in this case Redshift, to prepare it for the composition and finalization phase.

As a last step, import your Cinema 4D renders into After Effects to retouch the light and color before learning how to export your completed file.
