Dive right into your project discovering some illustration resources for putting together your piece including perspective, storytelling, framing, color, and composition, as well as how to apply them all in Photoshop. Give your character a backstory to help you define their environment before looking for some visual reference materials and get your first sketch down on paper.

Now refine your draft until you have a completed piece of line art. Carolina goes on to show you how to how to study values and colors to decide on a lighting plan for your composition.
