3D Design for Instagram with Cinema 4D

Start by deciding what concepts you want your 3D images to convey and elaborate on them. Eveling shares some tips on how to find inspiration to help you with conceptualization. Before you approach your design, create your color palette.

Then, dive headfirst into Cinema 4D Learn how to work with the main tools, design the composition for your first piece, and create a lighting setup. Experiment with deformers and play with different materials and colors until you get the right texture and visual contrast for your shape. Next, set the scene and prepare the camera for final rendering. Once you’ve completed those steps, design the rest of your pieces and even add motion to one of them.

Finish the course with a lesson on post-production. Use Photoshop to color correct and add subtle details to your composition and create an animation in Adobe Premiere. Then it’s finally time to show your work to the world by posting it on Instagram.
