Description

Vue 3, Tailwindcss, VueX, Vue Router, Composition API, and Vite

Note: This course teaches Vue 3.

Why this Course?

This is a dedicated Vue 3 course built from ground zero, not a Vue 2 course with a couple of supplement chapters about Vue 3.

If you are a completely beginner, you will have NO problem following this course. If you are already familiar with Vue 2, then this course can not only help us quickly pick up Vue 3 but also strengthen your Vue and JS foundations.

To make sure you can completely understand Vue 3, we even included lessons covering basic JavaScript topics like ES6 proxy, closure, arrow function, THIS, factory pattern, and singleton pattern.

To help you create professional-looking pages, we have also included a full tailwindcss course tailored just for Vue 3.

Vue is an excellent frontend framework with an ever growing popularity. With more companies using Vue, you are more likely to find jobs and outsourced projects.

Compared with React and Angular, Vue is just as fully featured but has a smoother learning curve. If you are looking for your first frontend framework, then look no further! After mastering Vue, you can take up another framework with much less time and effort.

This is the second Vue course we have developed. Our first Vue course teaches Vue 2 and was published in 2017. We have learnt a lot from developing the previous Vue course. We are therefore able to explain Vue concepts more clearly and come up with a better course design.

Just memorizing Vue syntaxes is not enough. You must also have a correct and thorough understanding of Vue's working mechanism. This is why we spend lots of time explaining the most fundamental topics.

Basic Vue syntaxes are often more complicated than you might have thought. So if you do take this course, we want you to be patient with the beginning chapters. Do NOT skip them. There are things you don't know that you don't know.

Vue 3 has introduced the composition API. It is a great new feature not just for Vue but for your JavaScript study as well. At the end of our Vue, Vue Router, and VueX studies, we will re-create our course projects by migrating codes into the setup function. You may find this process challenging but you will be rewarded with the perfect opportunity to further understand advanced JS techniques like closure, factory pattern, singleton pattern, etc. You can apply these techniques in real-life scenarios, rather than in an isolated experiment environment.
