In this course, she teaches you how to bring common household items to life by adding beautiful and intricate patterns. After learning to design and create different products, she teaches you how to market and sell them, too.

Description

Learn to create patterns and illustrations for household products that light up your home

Start by getting to know Tatiana. She shares her artistic journey that led her to creating her own textile company, Softer and Wild. Tatiana details how her style combines traditional Russian, Scandinavian, and Polish patterns with modern influences.

Begin by creating your own mood board. Find what designs inspire you and save them to build your own collection of prints and products. Start out with simple shapes to create your initial design and play with colors, figures and repeating elements. Once you make a design you like, create a composition to form a complete pattern.

Learn about digital printing technology and making a template to perfectly fit your products. Throughout the course, you’ll make a variety of products. Start by making a simple kitchen towel with your template. Then add some more complexity to your design by making an oven glove. Take your design to a larger scale and apply your design to an apron.

Once your designs are finalized, it’s time to send your products to print. Learn Tatiana’s tips and tricks on how to choose a manufacturer and her process for styling and marketing her products. Learn all there is to know about choosing the correct background, their positioning, and photographing them.
