Description

Learn how to transmit the visual identity of a brand in its corporate stationery and packaging, based on its logo

Get to know Javier and learn about his career as a graphic designer and founder of Plácida design studio. Discover his artistic and professional references and get a preview of what you’ll learn in the course.

Then, start your visual identity project for corporate stationery. Explore the details of each material and learn different printing techniques and finishes, before going through the history of typography and how to select the right typeface for your project.

Javier shares a case study to show you how well-crafted stationery can become the wow factor for a brand in today’s digital era. Learn the importance of building a flexible visual identity that adapts to the needs of a client.

Move onto the production phase by defining the physical format and sections of your design. Identify the brand’s personality, create a style guide, and see how to communicate its personality through stationery and corporate packaging. Then, create the paper prototypes to test the format, color range, and choice of typeface.

See how to communicate the concept of your design through a PDF presentation and product mock-ups using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Finally, create a second presentation with the relevant technical information for printing the final artwork. Javier concludes the course by giving you advice for you to ensure the final result is at the same standard as the files you prepared.
