It is essential to have a basic knowledge of light to be able to realize its full potential and use it for your photographs. Andrés Calderón, specialist in product photography and audiovisual direction, has a great mastery of the light with which he plays creating stunning images for different media. He has worked for important brands such as Starbucks, Nestlé or L'Oréal, among others.
In this course, Andrés will teach you the basic techniques to work natural light, so that you can exalt your products within a photographic composition and take full advantage of them within an e-commerce . In addition, it will give you advice for the different stages of the production and postproduction of your photographs, learning its methodology, with which you can work in a more agile way when portraying your products, or those of your customers.

You will start by knowing Andrés, he will tell you more about his professional career, what inspires him and what his references are.
You will make your first approach to photography with natural light, seeing determining factors for the preproduction of your session with window light.
You will start by reflecting on how light strikes objects, being aware of their volume, shape or reflections.
Then, you will delve into the important characteristics of the light to be able to control it. You will learn in a theoretical and practical way, different techniques and materials to work with it. Next, you will create a checklist with everything you need for your preproduction.
Let's do it! You will see more about the technical equipment you are going to use and the possibilities of the diffusers. Also, on how to mount your set and equipment in a window.
The teacher will give you the keys to exalt your products. You will photograph first with 3/4 planes and detail planes simultaneously. Then you will make a set change and move to the zenith plane.
Once you have your photographs, you must organize all the material and make a selection. When you have it, Andrés will give you some tips to make the development in RAW of the images and their colorization in Adobe Photoshop. You will explore the settings for the treatment and optimization of your images.
Finally, you will also learn what is the best way to save and export your files so that you can then upload them to your online store.
