Isidro Ferrer

In the hands of Isidro Ferrer, 2002 National Design Prize and 2006 National Illustration Prize, you will learn the creative process to face any new product design project no matter how complex it may be, including one without briefing, directions or limits on the part of the client.

In addition, it will give you the guidelines to design the visual identity of a company and its new line of products from the sketching and modeling of the idea, through the volumetric work of the turner and the final thoughts of the client.

Description

Design a line of products from the visual identity to the packaging

During the course you will know a little more about this designer and illustrator by "devotion", as he defines himself, and his vital attitude towards the profession. You will discover his references and the work he has done in terms of brand image, packaging, signage, set design, illustration, animation, etc.

You will learn to analyze the details of a new project and you will know the four most important elements when starting any creative process: time, play, chance and matter.

Isidro will also teach you some guidelines for working with wood and will tell you about his experience by having the help of a turner and a fallero teacher to give life to his work.

Once the product is elaborated, it will be necessary to communicate it! You will learn to design the visual identity for the different communication media (catalog, invitations for fairs, calendars ...) and to develop the line of related products and packaging.
