In this course, Gerard Miró from Lo Siento will teach you how to create a three-dimensional still life on paper with the papercraft technique. You will learn to extract the geometry of an object and transfer it to paper in the form of a pull-down to be able to mount it later.

The applications of this technique are endless since it allows to physically materialize any object, lettering in volume, packaging, etc.

Description

Learn to materialise any object geometrically and to create a 3D still life

You will begin to know the work and the influences of the study I feel specialized in graphic identity.

Then you will go into the preproduction phase of the piece knowing the necessary materials to do papercraft work, select the objects that you are going to represent (in the case of Gerard, the still life of a breakfast), decide the type of geometry of each object and tap it with a marker to help you transfer the shapes to the paper.

Then you will move the geometry with compass and draw the unfolding to later be able to cut and paste the different pieces that will make up the object.

Finally, with all the objects assembled, you will prepare the still life in the photography set to photograph it and you will end up knowing some basic tips of retouching in Photoshop to elaborate the final image.
