In this course, photographer Pati Gagarin teaches you how to conceptualize, prepare, shoot, edit, and publish your photos, with the aim of converting your Instagram feed into the ideal cover letter for your photography work.

Start the course by getting to know Pati, see some of her most significant sources of inspiration, and get introduced to what you will learn in the course.
Discover the importance of working on the initial production ideas for your photography project on Instagram. See art direction concepts, get advice on creating an effective portfolio, and see some examples of other photographers’ portfolios.
Then, it’s time to get started with your own portfolio. Pati tells you how she has planned the sessions in her notes as a starting point for your own plan. Shoot your still life photos by applying the knolling technique and continue by shooting portraits of your model.
Using your computer or phone, select your best photos with Photomechanic and edit them in Lightroom or Photoshop, correcting the light, colors, and final details.
