Description

Explore the art of modern calligraphy and create an A3 poster with your own graffiti-inspired letters

Nick, better known as Snooze One, introduces you to the course by telling you about his professional career and how he got started in the world of lettering and calligraphy. He also shares some of the influences that have inspired his style.

Next, Nick shows you all the materials you need for the course. He teaches you the basics beforing moving on to the structure of letters and how to work with them.

Develop an inspirational mood board, choose a theme for your poster, and decide on a style to apply to it. Put the concepts you've learned into practice by drawing a test sketch with different letters, an exercise that allows you to develop your artistic vision.

With the help of your teacher, prepare your paints and choose the right design. Then, sketch your phrase onto the composition and transfer it to the final piece of paper using a light pad. Now it's time to paint the letters and go back over the edges with maximum precision.

As a last step, add the final touches of color, shadows, and perspective to your drawing. Frame your piece with extra elements in the margins and decorate it with paint, smoke, or bubble effects to give it your signature style. To wrap up the course, Nick shows you the best way to present your work on social media.
