The first and most important phase of any project is to outline and establish a series of steps to ensure clear and coherent communication moving forward. This is where the design studio ERABOY comes in: their mission is to help startups create smart businesses with attitude by crafting their visual identities.

In this course, founder of ERABOY Guillermo Sariñana teaches you how to develop and design strong brands by conceptualizing and defining the personality of each project. Learn how to segment your creative process to achieve better graphic and conceptual results and maximize the impact of your ideas.

Description

Discover the process of creating strong brands through conceptualizing and defining personality

Meet your teacher Guillermo Sariñana and hear about what compelled him to help his clients and their startups develop their brands. He tells you about his professional experience designing brand identities and shows you some of the work he has created over the years.

See what a communication problem looks like and find out what steps you need to take to solve it. Learn how to ask the right questions and understand that asking them in the right way is the first step to success. Follow up with some research and gather as much relevant information as possible to help you see the big picture and lay the foundation for any type of business.

Establish a goal and a vision for your project and create a list of attributes. Identify its value proposition and the target audience. With these ideas in mind, compose your message and choose a simile that embodies your brand and its tone of voice. Then learn about the different personality archetypes and find the one that best suits your brand.

Now it's time to put all the pieces together. Choose a name and transform your written concepts into visual representations by designing what your teacher refers to as "distinctive graphics," as well as some complementary ones. To round out the course, Guillermo shares some tips on how to prepare a presentation for your project and impress your client.
