For a creative person, generating a lot of ideas isn’t usually a problem, but sometimes turning them into efficient projects can be. In this course, you'll see how to launch your ideas and learn your audience’s needs in-depth by using communication and public interaction techniques.

Guiding you'll be the journalist, screenwriter, actor, presenter, and television director Marcelo Tas. He’s been a mainstay of Brazilian communication since the 1980s and is currently the host of TV Cultura’s "Provocações". You can also find him on social networks, where he has almost 13 million followers among his Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.

In an endless competition for likes, followers, and a greater digital presence, interaction with the audience is one of the greatest challenges of our time. Marcelo Tas, with his extensive experience in different channels, will help you explore the limits of language and teach you how to handle criticism in a constructive way to boost your product or business.

Description

Learn how to engage your audience on social media and use criticism as a creative tool

To start, you’ll get to know Marcelo Tas's career, his beginnings on television, and his main projects and characters. You'll also see his main influences and sources of inspiration.

In the second unit, you'll analyze the evolution of communication until today, understanding from an evolutionary perspective the relevance of a good strategy to work with digital media in the accelerated era in which we live. You'll see the importance of self-knowledge to make the most of your creative potential and you'll learn a series of exercises that Tas calls "Empathy Map" and "The Anthropologist’s Look."

After this introduction, you'll start the practical part by structuring your final project’s prototype. You'll receive some examples and advice for different achievements and then Tas will share the step-by-step of the development of his digital project on Instagram: the @DicionarioTas. You'll discover a method to ask questions to your audience, client or partner; Only then will your ideas take shape and go beyond.

After defining the structure, and with all the data, you'll test your project. At this stage you’re going to hear what your audience or followers have to say, learning to deal with passionate or even hateful messages.

In the last unit, Tas will share his best tips to present your project; You'll learn the techniques to deal with the unpredictable and develop a good narrative. Finally, you'll see how criticism can become your ally, bringing innovation and improvements to your project.
