In design, visualizing a project is fundamental if we want to be able to measure impact and functionality. That's why mock-ups are such an invaluable tool. According to graphic designer and founder of Debut, Jorge Espinoza, they give you the chance to share your ideas with the world in a way that is simple, effective, and direct.
In this course, learn to create your own mock-ups from scratch to present your branding proposals. To do this, your teacher shows you how to build mock-ups using downloadable resources and canvases in Photoshop. By the end of the course, you'll have all the skills to produce impressive visualizations adapted to the requirements of any project.
Description
To start the course, Jorge Espinoza talks about his graphic design experience and how mock-ups have become an essential tool in his work. He also shares some of his main influences from the past few years.
Discover the importance of mock-ups for presenting your work. Then, look for visual resource materials, identify the main brand attributes for your final project, and prepare the canvas, bearing in mind which of these attributes you want to highlight in your presentation.
Define 10 scenarios in which to visualize your project and create your own mock-ups using different techniques and levels of difficulty. Create some visualizations by working on downloadable mock-ups and others by experimenting with highlights, shadows, volumes, textures, layers, and blending modes.
Jorge teaches you how to present your projects, whether they're for a client or for online platforms. He also gives you some tips on choosing the best mock-ups, both paid and free of charge, and shows you the mock-up banks he uses most in his work.
