The search for references and a concept, the creation of a set design , find the elements, models and materials that represent your idea, make a shooting , postproduce the photographs ... there are many phases of a fashion communication campaign. The creative director of Park Creative Studio, Carola, has years of experience in campaign creation and now, from her Chas Park space, all her passions, creativity, communication and fashion converge.

In this course, Carola will bring you closer to the role of artistic creative direction (or art direction). It will show you how to carry out a fashion campaign, visualizing each of the creative processes involved in image construction: from conceptualization through the set design , photography, to the final image. You will understand the project methodology of work and the world of fashion, art and design.

Description

Learn the creative process behind fashion campaigns from the concept to the final image.

You will start the course knowing Carola, who will explain her professional career as an art director and her previous step through other artistic disciplines. He will tell you about his role and involvement in Park Creative Studio and in Chas Park Studio; and show you his artistic influences.

You will make an introduction to the theoretical foundations of image, fashion and fashion photography; You will also be introduced to concepts such as visual perception and balance. You will understand the elements that constitute a brand identity.

You will begin to develop an idea for your fashion campaign following the phases of the creative process. First you will make a mood board with references and color palettes; Then you will start with the sketches of your set design .

Next, you will set up the scenery in the studio or location, as well as the equipment and materials. You will prepare your model, her wardrobe, hair, makeup and accessories; then, you will try until you find a lighting that works for you in shooting and ... action! You will proceed to the session, making four different positions in the same set, selecting different spaces within it.

Once you have the photographs, you should review them and choose between four photos that summarize all the elements and ideas you want to show. Carola will give you some tips to retouch them until you get an aesthetic coherence between them, as if it were a photographic series, where the vision of the brand is visualized, for a good communication campaign. You'll design thinking for what media and networks we will communicate the pieces.
